The Cloud 9 activation is based around the overall theme for the Myer Centre’s Shop BNE City campaign and has been used as an initiative to drive foot traffic to level two of the Myer Centre.
Designed around the colours of a sunset and a strong illustrative style, this approach enables us to bring to life playful imagination, encouraging each visitor to take part in whimsical photo ops.
Hand drawn by our designer Fran Hannaway, with the assistance of Timothy Goode, all clouds and special elements have been created to delight and inspire shoppers as they interact with the space - there is nothing like pen on paper to create worlds of fantasy!
Taking it from the drawing board to 3D modelling the store and shopfront, the space quickly took on a life of it’s own. Playing to the colour palette of the Myer Centre’s overall campaign branding – the presentation of these renders showed our client what to expect in and outside the space.
Here at Iceworks Design, we love collaborating to deliver the best result to our clients, and in turn their clients! As always, this project was delivered by a talented team.
Fran has loved the process of creating Cloud 9 through illustration and playful imaginings. Drawing on her theatrical experience of designing for site specific shows, the design of the space was developed to immerse the viewer and provide opportunity for lasting memories through a myriad of photo opportunities.
Joining the Iceworks Design family in January of 2019, Timothy has quickly become an indispensable addition to the design team. Collaborating with Fran during concept development, illustrations and final artwork, Tim transformed the black and white drawings into the sunset colours you see in the space.
